Ingredients 

Starter Ingredients

  • 1 cup Whole Wheat Flour
  • 1 cup Water Filtered

Instructions 

  1. Day 1: Mix 1 cup of whole wheat flour and 1 cup of filtered water in a glass jar. Cover with a cloth and let sit at room temperature.
  2. Day 2-5: Each day, discard half of the starter and feed it with ½ cup of whole wheat flour and ½ cup of filtered water. Stir well and cover again.
  3. By day 5, the starter should be bubbly and have a tangy smell. It's ready to use.
