Ingredients

  • 1 sheet Pie Crust store-bought or homemade
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 cup Gruyere Cheese shredded
  • 6 slices Bacon cooked and crumbled
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Black Pepper
  • teaspoon Nutmeg freshly grated

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out pie crust and cut into circles to fit muffin tin. Press into muffin tin cups.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
  4. Divide bacon and cheese evenly among the muffin cups.
  5. Pour egg mixture over bacon and cheese, filling each cup about ¾ full.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until quiches are set and lightly golden.
  7. Let cool slightly before removing from muffin tin. Serve warm.
