Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 500 g Spinach
  • 200 g Mustard Greens
  • 1 medium Onion chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 inch Ginger grated
  • 2 tablespoon Ghee
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garam Masala
  • to taste Salt

Instructions 

  1. 1. Wash and chop the spinach and mustard greens.
  2. 2. Heat ghee in a large pot over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
  3. 3. Add chopped onions, garlic, and ginger. Sauté until onions are golden brown.
  4. 4. Add turmeric powder and mix well.
  5. 5. Add the chopped greens and cook until they wilt down.
  6. 6. Transfer the mixture to a blender and blend until smooth.
  7. 7. Return the blended mixture to the pot, add garam masala, and salt to taste. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  8. 8. Serve hot with roti or rice.
