  • 1 lb fresh fish (sea bass or tilapia), diced
  • 1 cup lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 jalapeño, minced or more to taste
  • 1 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 1 avocado, diced
  • to taste salt

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced fish and lime juice. Let it marinate for about 10 minutes, or until the fish turns opaque.
  2. 2. Add the sliced red onion, minced jalapeño, chopped cilantro, and diced avocado to the bowl. Mix gently to combine.
  3. 3. Season with salt to taste. Serve immediately with tortilla chips or on its own.
