Ingredients 

Wonton Filling

  • ½ lb ground pork
  • ½ cup shrimp, chopped
  • 1 green onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon white pepper
  • 20 wonton wrappers

Broth

  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup baby spinach
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce for broth
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil for broth

Instructions 

  1. Mix pork, shrimp, green onion, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and white pepper in a bowl.
  2. Place a teaspoon of filling in the center of each wonton wrapper. Fold and seal edges with water.
  3. Bring chicken broth to a boil. Add ginger, garlic, soy sauce, and sesame oil.
  4. Add wontons to the broth. Cook for 5-7 minutes until they float.
  5. Add baby spinach and cook for another 2 minutes.
