  • 4 slices bacon diced
  • ¼ cup vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until crisp. Remove bacon and set aside, reserving drippings.
  2. 2. Add vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper to the drippings; cook and stir until boiling.
  3. 3. Place lettuce in a large bowl. Add the hot dressing; toss to coat. Sprinkle with bacon. Serve immediately.
