Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 Onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 Green Bell Pepper, chopped
  • 1 Jalapeno, chopped
  • 1 lb Chicken Breast, cooked and shredded
  • 2 cups Chicken Broth
  • 2 cans Great Northern Beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Oregano
  • ½ teaspoon Chili Powder
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 cup Sour Cream
  • ½ cup Heavy Cream

Instructions 

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped onion, garlic, green bell pepper, and jalapeno. Cook until softened.
  3. Add shredded chicken, chicken broth, and beans. Stir to combine.
  4. Season with cumin, oregano, chili powder, salt, and black pepper. Bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
  6. Stir in sour cream and heavy cream. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!
