Instructions 

  1. Chill mixing bowl and beaters in the freezer for 10 minutes.
  2. Pour heavy cream into the chilled bowl.
  3. Beat cream on medium-high speed until it starts to thicken.
  4. Add sugar and vanilla extract. Continue to beat until stiff peaks form.
  5. Serve immediately or store in the refrigerator.
