Main Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ cup cold butter cut into small cubes
- ¼ cup cold water
- 1 cup potatoes diced
- 1 cup carrots diced
- 1 cup peas
- 1 cup corn
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Add the cold butter and mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
3. Gradually add cold water, mixing until the dough comes together. Wrap in plastic wrap and chill for 30 minutes.
4. In another bowl, combine potatoes, carrots, peas, corn, black pepper, and thyme.
5. Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut into circles. Place a spoonful of the vegetable mixture on one half of each circle, fold over, and crimp the edges to seal.
6. Place the pasties on a baking sheet and bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
