Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 block Extra firm tofu pressed and drained
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs use gluten-free if needed
  • ½ cup All-purpose flour use gluten-free if needed
  • 1 cup Unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon Paprika
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Black pepper

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cut the pressed tofu into ½-inch thick slices.
  3. In a bowl, mix the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the almond milk and soy sauce.
  5. Place the breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
  6. Dip each tofu slice into the flour mixture, then the almond milk mixture, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
  7. Place the breaded tofu slices on the prepared baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
