Turkish Dumplings Recipe
Delicious Turkish dumplings, also known as Manti, served with a garlic yogurt sauce and a drizzle of spiced butter.

Dough
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 unit egg
- 0.5 cup water as needed
Filling
- 200 grams ground beef or lamb
- 1 unit onion finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
Sauce
- 1 cup yogurt plain
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 2 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried mint
1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Add the egg and mix. Gradually add water until a dough forms. Knead until smooth. Cover and let rest for 30 minutes.
2. For the filling, mix ground meat, onion, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
3. Roll out the dough thinly on a floured surface. Cut into small squares. Place a small amount of filling in the center of each square. Fold and seal the edges.
4. Boil a large pot of salted water. Cook the dumplings until they float to the surface, about 10-15 minutes.
5. For the sauce, mix yogurt and garlic. Melt butter in a pan, add paprika and dried mint.
6. Serve dumplings with garlic yogurt sauce and drizzle with spiced butter.
