Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 Turkey carcass leftover
  • 2 cups Carrots chopped
  • 2 cups Celery chopped
  • 1 cup Onion chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 8 cups Water
  • 2 cups Cooked turkey shredded
  • 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Thyme dried
  • 1 teaspoon Parsley dried

Instructions 

  1. Place the turkey carcass in a large pot and cover with water.
  2. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour.
  3. Remove the carcass and strain the broth.
  4. Add chopped carrots, celery, onion, and garlic to the broth.
  5. Simmer for another 30 minutes until vegetables are tender.
  6. Add shredded turkey, salt, pepper, thyme, and parsley. Simmer for 10 more minutes.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!
