Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Lamb
  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 large Onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon Dried Oregano
  • 1 tablespoon Ground Cumin
  • 2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. In a food processor, combine the onion, garlic, oregano, cumin, salt, and pepper. Process until finely chopped.
  3. In a large bowl, mix the ground lamb and beef. Add the onion mixture and combine well.
  4. Transfer the meat mixture to a baking dish, pressing it down firmly to remove any air pockets.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 60 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  6. Let the meat cool slightly before slicing thinly to serve.
