  • 2 green plantains
  • 1 cup cooked ground beef
  • ½ cup shredded cheese
  • ¼ cup diced tomatoes
  • ¼ cup diced onions
  • ¼ cup diced bell peppers
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt to taste
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions 

  1. Peel and cut plantains into 1-inch thick slices.
  2. Fry plantain slices in hot oil until golden, then remove and flatten.
  3. Fry flattened plantains again until crispy.
  4. In a pan, sauté onions, bell peppers, and garlic until soft.
  5. Add cooked ground beef and tomatoes, cook until heated through.
  6. Place a spoonful of beef mixture on each plantain slice.
  7. Top with shredded cheese and serve.
