Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 sheet Puff pastry thawed if frozen
  • 4 medium Tomatoes sliced
  • 1 cup Shredded cheese Gruyere or mozzarella
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh basil chopped

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. Arrange the sliced tomatoes on top of the puff pastry.
  4. Sprinkle the shredded cheese evenly over the tomatoes.
  5. Drizzle olive oil over the top and season with salt and black pepper.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the pastry is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
