Ingredients

  • 400 g spaghetti
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 5 tablespoon olive oil
  • 800 g canned tomatoes chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper to taste
  • 1 cup basil leaves fresh, chopped

Instructions 

  1. 1. Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. 2. In a pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. 3. Add the chopped tomatoes to the pan. Season with salt and black pepper. Let it simmer for 10-15 minutes.
  4. 4. Toss the cooked spaghetti into the pan with the tomato sauce. Mix well to combine.
  5. 5. Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
