Ingredients 

Marinade

  • 1 cup Coconut milk
  • 2 tablespoon Fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Ground turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cumin
  • 1 lb Chicken breast, cut into strips

Peanut Sauce

  • ½ cup Peanut butter
  • ½ cup Coconut milk
  • 1 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Lime juice
  • 1 clove Garlic, minced

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, combine coconut milk, fish sauce, brown sugar, turmeric, and cumin. Add chicken strips and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. 2. Thread the marinated chicken onto skewers.
  3. 3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the chicken skewers for about 5 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked.
  4. 4. For the peanut sauce, combine peanut butter, coconut milk, soy sauce, brown sugar, lime juice, and minced garlic in a bowl. Mix well until smooth.
  5. 5. Serve the grilled chicken satay with the peanut sauce.
