Tater Tots Ingredients
- 4 cups Russet potatoes peeled and grated
- ¼ cup All-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- ½ teaspoon Garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon Onion powder
- ¼ teaspoon Black pepper
- 2 cups Vegetable oil for frying
1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Place grated potatoes in a clean kitchen towel and squeeze out excess moisture.
3. In a large bowl, combine grated potatoes, flour, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Mix well.
4. Shape the mixture into small tots and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
5. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Fry the tots in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
6. Transfer fried tots to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
7. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
