Ingredients

  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 teaspoon yeast
  • 3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 large egg
  • ¼ cup butter, melted

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
  2. 2. Add flour, salt, egg, and melted butter to the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. 3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. 4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  5. 5. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Punch down the dough and divide it into 12 equal pieces. Shape each piece into a ball and place on a greased baking sheet.
  6. 6. Let the rolls rise for another 20 minutes. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
