Meatballs
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 egg beaten
- ½ cup breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
Sauce
- 1 cup pineapple juice
- ½ cup vinegar
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoon water
1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, egg, breadcrumbs, salt, and pepper. Mix well and form into meatballs.
2. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and cook the meatballs until browned on all sides. Remove and set aside.
3. In the same skillet, combine pineapple juice, vinegar, brown sugar, and soy sauce. Bring to a boil.
4. Add the cornstarch mixture to the skillet and stir until the sauce thickens.
5. Return the meatballs to the skillet and coat them with the sauce. Simmer for 10 minutes.
