Ingredients

  • 2 cups Sushi rice cooked
  • 4 sheets Nori
  • 1 piece Cucumber julienned
  • 1 piece Avocado sliced
  • 200 grams Fresh fish (like salmon or tuna) sliced
  • 2 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt

Instructions 

  1. 1. Rinse the sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  2. 2. Cook the rice according to the package instructions. Once cooked, let it cool slightly.
  3. 3. Mix the rice vinegar, sugar, and salt in a small bowl. Pour over the cooked rice and mix well.
  4. 4. Place a sheet of nori on the bamboo mat. Spread a thin layer of rice over the nori, leaving a 1-inch border at the top.
  5. 5. Arrange the cucumber, avocado, and fish slices in a line along the bottom edge of the rice.
  6. 6. Roll the bamboo mat away from you, pressing firmly to shape the sushi roll.
  7. 7. Slice the roll into bite-sized pieces with a sharp knife. Serve with soy sauce.
