Stuffed Grape Leaves Recipe

Main Ingredients
- 1 jar Grape leaves rinsed and drained
- 1 cup Rice uncooked
- 1 lb Ground beef
- 1 medium Onion finely chopped
- ¼ cup Pine nuts optional
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- ½ teaspoon Black pepper
- ½ cup Olive oil divided
- 2 cups Chicken broth
- 2 tablespoon Lemon juice
1. In a mixing bowl, combine rice, ground beef, onion, pine nuts, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
2. Lay a grape leaf flat, shiny side down. Place a spoonful of the mixture in the center. Fold the sides over and roll up tightly.
3. Place the stuffed grape leaves seam side down in a large pot. Repeat until all the mixture is used.
4. Drizzle with half of the olive oil. Add chicken broth and lemon juice. Place a plate on top to keep them from floating.
5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour.
6. Remove from heat and let cool slightly before serving.
