Ingredients

  • 1 head Cabbage large
  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 cup Cooked Rice
  • 1 medium Onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 can Tomato Sauce (15 oz)
  • 1 can Diced Tomatoes (15 oz)
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black Pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. 2. Boil cabbage head in a large pot until leaves are tender, about 10 minutes. Remove and let cool.
  3. 3. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, cooked rice, onion, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  4. 4. Carefully peel off cabbage leaves. Place a small amount of meat mixture in the center of each leaf and roll up, tucking in the sides.
  5. 5. Place rolls in a baking dish. Pour tomato sauce and diced tomatoes over the rolls.
  6. 6. Cover with foil and bake for 1.5 hours.
