Ingredients 

Pie Crust

  • 1 package Refrigerated pie crusts

Filling

  • 4 cups Fresh strawberries hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 3 tablespoons Cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch Salt

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Roll out the pie crusts and place one in a pie dish.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine strawberries, sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, vanilla extract, and salt.
  4. Pour the strawberry mixture into the pie crust.
  5. Cover with the second pie crust, seal the edges, and cut a few slits on top to vent.
  6. Bake for 45 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
  7. Let the pie cool before serving.
