Instructions
Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
Add garlic, shallot, and red pepper flakes. Cook until fragrant, about 2 minutes.
Pour in the white wine and bring to a simmer.
Add mussels, cover, and cook until mussels open, about 5-7 minutes.
Discard any mussels that do not open.
Stir in parsley, salt, and pepper.
Serve with lemon wedges.
