Steamed Egg Chawan Mushi Recipe

Main Ingredients
- 4 Eggs
- 2 cups Dashi
- 1 tablespoon Soy Sauce
- 1 teaspoon Mirin
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- 4 Shrimp peeled and deveined
- 4 Mushrooms sliced
In a mixing bowl, whisk the eggs gently.
Add dashi, soy sauce, mirin, and salt to the eggs. Mix well.
Strain the mixture through a sieve to remove any lumps.
Divide the shrimp and mushrooms among four cups.
Pour the egg mixture into the cups, filling them about ¾ full.
Cover each cup with aluminum foil.
Steam the cups in a steamer for about 20 minutes, or until the custard is set.
Serve warm.
