  • 4 Eggs
  • 200 g Sugar
  • 200 g Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 200 g Butter softened

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Sift in the flour and baking powder, then fold into the egg mixture.
  4. Gently fold in the softened butter until well combined.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased cake tin.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Allow the cake to cool in the tin for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
