  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

Instructions 

  1. In a bowl, mix spelt flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, whisk buttermilk, egg, and melted butter.
  3. Combine wet and dry ingredients, stir until just mixed.
  4. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat, pour batter to form pancakes.
  5. Cook until bubbles form, flip and cook until golden brown.
