Ingredients

  • 1 cup Sugar for caramel
  • 4 cups Milk
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a saucepan over medium-low heat, melt sugar until golden. Pour into a baking dish and let it harden.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, and vanilla extract. Pour over the hardened caramel in the baking dish.
  4. Place the baking dish in a larger pan filled with hot water. Bake for 60 minutes.
  5. Let it cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
