- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 cups milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 pinch salt
In a medium saucepan, whisk together sugar, cocoa powder, and flour.
Gradually whisk in milk until smooth.
Place the saucepan over medium heat and cook, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and comes to a boil.
Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.
Serve warm over biscuits, pancakes, or waffles.
