Main Ingredients
- 2 cups grits quick-cooking
- 4 cups water
- 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
- 1 cup milk
- 4 tablespoon butter melted
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon pepper
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add grits and cook until thickened, about 5 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in cheese, milk, butter, salt, and pepper.
Pour mixture into a greased baking dish.
Bake for 45 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
