- 1 lb chicken livers cleaned and trimmed
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 cup vegetable oil for frying
1. Soak chicken livers in buttermilk for at least 1 hour.
2. In a bowl, mix flour, salt, pepper, and paprika.
3. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
4. Dredge livers in flour mixture, shake off excess.
5. Fry livers in batches until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
6. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
