Ingredients 

Chicken

  • 1 whole Chicken cut into pieces

Marinade

  • 2 cups Buttermilk
  • 1 tablespoon Hot Sauce

Coating

  • 2 cups All-purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper

Frying

  • 4 cups Vegetable Oil for frying

Instructions 

  1. 1. Marinate the chicken pieces in buttermilk and hot sauce for at least 1 hour.
  2. 2. In a large bowl, mix flour, salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper.
  3. 3. Dredge the marinated chicken pieces in the flour mixture, ensuring they are well coated.
  4. 4. Heat the vegetable oil in a deep fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  5. 5. Fry the chicken pieces in batches until golden brown and cooked through, about 10-12 minutes per batch.
  6. 6. Drain the fried chicken on paper towels and serve hot.
