- 4 pieces Chicken Thighs bone-in, skin-on
Marinade
- 2 cups Buttermilk
- 1 tablespoon Hot Sauce
Coating
- 2 cups All-purpose Flour
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
- 1 teaspoon Paprika
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
- 1 quart Vegetable Oil for frying
1. In a large bowl, mix buttermilk and hot sauce. Add chicken thighs, cover, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
2. In another bowl, combine flour, salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
3. Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer to 350°F (175°C).
4. Remove chicken from marinade, letting excess drip off. Dredge in flour mixture, pressing to adhere.
5. Fry chicken in batches for 12-15 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through. Drain on paper towels.
6. Serve hot and enjoy!
