Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Italian sausage mild or spicy
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 3 cups kale chopped
  • 4 cups potatoes diced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • to taste salt
  • to taste black pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. 2. Add the cooked sausage, chicken broth, potatoes, onion, and garlic to the slow cooker. Stir to combine.
  3. 3. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours, or until potatoes are tender.
  4. 4. Add the chopped kale and heavy cream. Stir and cook for an additional 30 minutes.
  5. 5. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Serve hot.
