Slow Cooker Texas Pulled Pork Recipe

Main Ingredients
- 4 pounds Pork shoulder trimmed of excess fat
- 1 cup Barbecue sauce
- ½ cup Apple cider vinegar
- ½ cup Chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon Brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Prepared yellow mustard
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon Chili powder
- 1 large Onion chopped
- 2 large Garlic cloves crushed
- 1 ½ teaspoons Dried thyme
- 8 hamburger buns Hamburger buns split
Place the pork shoulder in a slow cooker.
In a bowl, mix together the barbecue sauce, apple cider vinegar, chicken broth, brown sugar, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, chili powder, onion, garlic, and thyme. Pour over the pork.
Cover and cook on Low for 8 hours or High for 4 hours, until the pork shreds easily with a fork.
Remove the pork from the slow cooker and shred with two forks. Return the shredded pork to the slow cooker and mix with the juices.
Serve the pulled pork on hamburger buns.
