Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground lamb or beef
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 cup carrots, diced
  • 1 cup peas
  • 2 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoon flour
  • 4 cups mashed potatoes
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook ground meat until browned. Drain fat.
  3. Add onions, carrots, and peas. Cook until vegetables are tender.
  4. Stir in tomato paste and flour. Cook for 2 minutes.
  5. Add beef broth and simmer until thickened.
  6. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Transfer meat mixture to a baking dish. Spread mashed potatoes on top.
  8. Bake for 20 minutes or until top is golden brown.
