Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh fish fillets (such as tilapia or sea bass), diced
  • 1 cup fresh lime juice
  • ½ cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 cup tomatoes, diced
  • 1 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 1 unit jalapeño, seeded and minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced fish and lime juice. Make sure the fish is fully submerged in the lime juice.
  2. 2. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 15 minutes, or until the fish turns opaque.
  3. 3. Add the chopped red onion, tomatoes, cilantro, jalapeño, salt, and black pepper to the bowl. Mix well.
  4. 4. Serve immediately with tortilla chips or on a bed of lettuce.
