Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 Onion, chopped
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 Green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 cup Dry white wine
  • 1 can Crushed tomatoes (28 oz)
  • 2 cups Fish stock
  • 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Dried thyme
  • 1 lb Clams, scrubbed
  • 1 lb Mussels, scrubbed
  • 1 lb Shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 lb Firm white fish (like cod), cut into chunks
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 1 bunch Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions 

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the onion, garlic, and green bell pepper. Cook until softened.
  2. Pour in the white wine and let it simmer for a few minutes. Add the crushed tomatoes, fish stock, oregano, and thyme. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let it simmer for 20 minutes.
  3. Add the clams and mussels. Cover and cook until they start to open, about 5 minutes.
  4. Add the shrimp and fish chunks. Cook until the shrimp is pink and the fish is cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
