- 4 large eggs
- 1 pound sausage meat
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon paprika
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- to taste Oil for frying
Boil the eggs for 5 minutes, then cool in ice water and peel.
Divide sausage meat into 4 portions. Flatten each portion and wrap around an egg.
Roll each sausage-wrapped egg in flour, then dip in beaten egg, and coat with breadcrumbs.
Heat oil in a deep fryer or large saucepan to 350°F (175°C). Fry the eggs until golden brown, about 5 minutes.
Drain on paper towels and serve warm.
