Scalloped Potatoes Recipe

Main Ingredients
- 4 cups potatoes, thinly sliced
- 2 cups milk
- 2 tablespoon butter
- 2 tablespoon flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour, salt, and pepper until smooth. Gradually add milk, stirring constantly until thickened.
In a greased baking dish, layer half of the potatoes, then pour half of the sauce over them. Repeat layers.
Sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
Bake, covered, for 45 minutes. Uncover and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until potatoes are tender and cheese is golden brown.
