Ingredients

  • 12 large mushrooms stems removed
  • ½ pound sausage cooked and crumbled
  • ¼ cup breadcrumbs
  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 2 tablespoons parsley chopped
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine cooked sausage, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  3. Stuff each mushroom cap with the sausage mixture.
  4. Place stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 20 minutes, or until mushrooms are tender and stuffing is golden brown.
