Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb salmon fillet skin removed, cut into chunks
  • 4 cups fish stock
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup diced potatoes
  • 1 cup diced carrots
  • 1 cup diced celery
  • 1 medium onion diced
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 2 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. 1. In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the diced onion, carrots, and celery. Cook until the vegetables are tender, about 5 minutes.
  2. 2. Stir in the flour and cook for another 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
  3. 3. Gradually add the fish stock, stirring constantly to avoid lumps. Bring to a boil.
  4. 4. Add the diced potatoes and cook until tender, about 10 minutes.
  5. 5. Reduce the heat to low and stir in the heavy cream. Add the salmon chunks and cook until the salmon is just cooked through, about 5 minutes.
