Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • cup bread crumbs
  • ¼ cup chopped onion
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • ½ cup sliced mushrooms
  • ¼ cup chopped parsley

Instructions 

  1. Mix ground beef, bread crumbs, onion, egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Shape into patties.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Cook patties until browned on both sides.
  5. Remove patties and set aside.
  6. Add mushrooms to the skillet and cook until tender.
  7. Stir in beef broth and bring to a simmer.
  8. Mix cornstarch and water, then add to the skillet.
  9. Return patties to the skillet and cook until sauce thickens.
  10. Garnish with parsley before serving.
