- 1 loaf French bread
- 1 head garlic
- 4 tablespoon butter softened
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoon parsley chopped
1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. Cut the top off the garlic head to expose the cloves. Drizzle with olive oil, wrap in aluminum foil, and roast for 30-35 minutes until soft.
3. Let the garlic cool, then squeeze the cloves out into a bowl. Mash with a fork.
4. Mix the mashed garlic with softened butter, salt, and pepper.
5. Slice the French bread loaf in half lengthwise. Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly on both halves.
6. Place the bread on a baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes until golden and crispy.
7. Sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.
