Ingredients

  • 1 cup Long grain rice
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 1 small Onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cups Chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper

Instructions 

  1. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped onion and cook until translucent.
  3. Add rice and cook, stirring constantly, until rice is lightly browned.
  4. Stir in chicken broth, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.
  6. Fluff with a fork and serve.
