  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • ½ cup mirin
  • ½ cup water

Instructions 

  1. Boil the eggs for 7 minutes.
  2. Transfer eggs to an ice bath and let cool for 5 minutes.
  3. Peel the eggs and set aside.
  4. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, mirin, and water.
  5. Place the eggs in a plastic bag and pour the marinade over them.
  6. Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
