- 4 large eggs
- ½ cup soy sauce
- ½ cup mirin
- ½ cup water
Boil the eggs for 7 minutes.
Transfer eggs to an ice bath and let cool for 5 minutes.
Peel the eggs and set aside.
In a bowl, mix soy sauce, mirin, and water.
Place the eggs in a plastic bag and pour the marinade over them.
Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
