Quinoa Black Bean Burgers Recipe

Main Ingredients
- 1 cup quinoa, cooked
- 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
- ½ cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg beaten
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoon olive oil for cooking
1. In a large mixing bowl, mash the black beans with a fork until mostly smooth.
2. Add the cooked quinoa, breadcrumbs, beaten egg, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to combine.
3. Form the mixture into 4 patties.
4. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, until golden brown and heated through.
5. Serve the burgers on buns with your favorite toppings.
