Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup quinoa, cooked
  • 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil for cooking

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large mixing bowl, mash the black beans with a fork until mostly smooth.
  2. 2. Add the cooked quinoa, breadcrumbs, beaten egg, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to combine.
  3. 3. Form the mixture into 4 patties.
  4. 4. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, until golden brown and heated through.
  5. 5. Serve the burgers on buns with your favorite toppings.
