Ingredients

  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 tablespoon pumpkin puree
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • ½ cup strong coffee
  • whipped cream optional, for topping

Instructions 

  1. In a saucepan, combine milk, pumpkin puree, and sugar. Cook over medium heat, stirring, until hot. Do not boil.
  2. Remove from heat and whisk in vanilla, pumpkin pie spice, and coffee.
  3. Pour into mugs and top with whipped cream, if desired. Sprinkle a little extra pumpkin pie spice on top.
