  • 2 cups Rye flour
  • 1 cup Whole wheat flour
  • 1 cup Bread flour
  • 1 tablespoon Cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon Molasses
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Instant yeast
  • 1.5 cups Warm water

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large mixing bowl, combine rye flour, whole wheat flour, bread flour, and cocoa powder.
  2. 2. Add molasses, salt, and instant yeast to the dry ingredients.
  3. 3. Gradually add warm water and mix until a dough forms.
  4. 4. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  5. 5. Place the dough in a greased loaf pan, cover, and let it rise for about 1 hour.
  6. 6. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  7. 7. Bake the bread for 45 minutes or until it sounds hollow when tapped.
  8. 8. Let the bread cool completely before slicing.
